Kuriya Dining
Japanese Cuisine at its Finest
Availabilities of Japanese kitchens are in all forms or sizes, menus or styles,
everywhere in Singapore.
everywhere in Singapore.
But of so many restaurants, how many can u truly say u tasted
Japanese Cuisine at its most authentic flavors?
Japanese Cuisine at its most authentic flavors?
Today PnP opens your eyes to one of the finest, if not the best.
Before reading further into this review, i will start of by saying, yes this restaurant is not somewhere you're going to dine on a regular frequency due to the pricey menus. We spend around $200/+ total for two pax.
But let us reassure u, its worth every cents you will be paying for.
Ok let us first look at the Dinner Set Menu.
PnP tasted this two sets during our first trip to this delicate restaurant.

the dinner sets comes in three selections. the third was a Hotpot Beef Set which we didn't order because my beautiful dining partner do not take beef.
These 6 courses sets include a Starter (Edamame), Appetizer, a Steamed Item, Main, Soup, and a Dessert each.
The original Set Dinner menu consists of seven select-able mains,
however the Sushi Set Dinner was a fixed course.
Nonetheless, the Assorted Sushi presented in this set is PnP's utmost recommendation.
The Assorted Sushi
If there's any form of love at first sight for food, this is it.
The traditional presentation of this dish is in no way u can refer to as spectacular,
however the fine texture and clean fragrance give the first indication of the
freshness and delivery of this main.
Figures will do this dish more justice than just words.
10/10. Nothing less.
:)
3 Kinds of Sashimi
Maybe a more delightful name will serve this appetizer better.
But, it doesn't really matter anymore once the Sashimi is set in your mouth.
Any fresher, u got to fish it yourself.
The Cod Fish Teriyaki
The main we selected from the Set Dinner Menu.
Flavor really tells how delicate the chef is when preparing this dish.
If any other mains didn't catch your attention,
PnP recommend a go for this.
Steamed Egg Custard (the Steamed Item)
Simplicity is great, but like a treasure chest,
the interior content packs extraordinary highlights.
a good dish item to kick start your momentum for a wonderful dining experience.
Green Tea Ice Cream with Red Bean
Much like Green Tea Ice Cream served in most Japanese restaurants,
this is not much out of the extraordinary.
The fruits that coupled this Dessert is well thought out though.
something light to round up this already fine set.
A quick overview to close this review. A really fine Japanese restaurant,
the atmosphere, services, are great.
But what really separates this from other Japanese kitchens
is the deliveries of it's food. Highly recommended to give
Kuriya Dining a try.
