Picnic by the Barrage, Dinner by the Zebra
After the long weekdays, the weekends arrive and mark the end to our 5-days sorrow. we decided not to waste any moment of this beautiful weekends and headed south to Marina barrage, to have our lovely long waiting picnic. We were able to catch a glimpse of the aerial display for the Singapore National Day Parade 2012, and due to this display the Barrage has forbidden Kite flying throughout the evening.
We didnt spend our time there until late because of the rain and headed to bugis to feed our rumbling stomach. Iluma Shopping centre reopened all the restaurants in Level 4 and we chose to dine at the Cafe called "Zebra".
The Cafe is newly opened in singapore if not wrong. Just a small cafe with a few staffs but all the tables were fully occupied.
Our food selections are Mushroom Soup, Japanese sauce Salad, Smoked duck with egg Pancake and Seafood Baked rice. Available Sandwiches, Noodle, Chops and Stone Pot rices with Black Pepper/Teriyaki Sauce/Curry Sauce/Nonya Sauce as your own choice.
Our Japanese Salad is Sugoi.. Sweetness and freshness is 100 marks :)
Pokka's Seafood baked rice.. Serving is average and the taste is awesome.
Below is Piglet's Smoked duck with egg pancake. It's not the best pancake and the serving is small so I gave it 50 marks.
Overall we spent about 36.90 bucks for the meals.
Our PnP rating is B.
