December Treats!!!!

This edition of food hunting will introduce everybody to this American Bar,

North Border Bar & Grill. (http://www.northborder.com.sg/)

3 more months to a full 2 years together, we decided to come here for a peaceful, quiet dinner. Haha but things didn't quite turn out as we expected, as a certain company was holding their early Christmas celebration here as well. It was all fun and laughter for this joyous festive season, so we didn't mind it at all. Ambiance was still pretty great.

My pretty Valentine, the love of my life <3

One of the many restaurants in Rochester Park, this bar specialized in serving American food, and lots of beer and wine. It was all planned for Rochester Park to become a Dempsey Hill type of eating locality, and they are well on the way towards it. Not as heavenly flavorful as what you would find at Dempsey, but definitely have their own ways to delight your appetite. If you're looking for a good hangout dining place, which is considerably affordable, this is it.

So we started off with a Soup of the day, which happen to be Clam Soup, a starter of Crab cakes, and a complimentary basket of chips.

                                                     Crab Cakes

I love the crab cakes, it comes with a spicy sauce which really raise my appetite a lot. Crunchy and crispy on the outside, inner meat tasty and juicy. I would call it the best dish I had all night. That's saying a lot as the mains are great as well.

                                                         Clam Soup

The soup is well cooked and will be suitable for most taste buds, nice really. But let's get on with the mains.

Ok so we ordered a Lamb chop and a Seafood Marinara.
Both came in huge servings, so if you have a small stomach to hold, go without a starter/sides.

The Lamb chop, was really grilled finely. Chewy and soft, with fragrant sauce coupled with delightful veggies.
It was a beautiful piece of chop. But it's a waste I didn't manage to finish every single bit of it, due to it's size. Believe me it's worth a try if you like lambs.

                                                        Lamb chop

The Seafood Marina was a jumbo too. Squids, fish, prawns, mussels as it's main ingredients. It tasted excellent with it's tomato base.

                                                  Seafood Marinara

Located just a 10mins walk away from Buona Vista MRT, we would urge people to come for a treat for themselves. Just remember to take an alcohol to lighten the evening, we had a Magarita Lime for that :P
